Junior Achievement proudly presents the 2012 Business Hall of Fame. Each year, 4 Laureates from the Hampton Roads' community are chosen for this prestigious award and induction into the Business Hall of Fame. You can register for a table now or call 757.455.9504 and speak with Adrianna Rivera about sponsorship opportunities. Information about ticket pricing and event details can be found on the Hall of Fame site. Volunteers needed! The 2011-2012 school year is beginning, and teachers are in need of classroom volunteers who are willing to teach 5-7 lessons to the students. Lessons are pre-made and pre-packaged, and JA will train and provide all volunteers with the necessary information, lesson scripts, and materials. If you are interested in volunteering a classroom, please check out our Volunteer Opportunities or visit the Volunteers section of our website. You can also call 455.9500 or email hamptonroadsinfo@ja.org.
Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success. Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills. JA's experiential learning inspires kids to dream big and reach their potential.
Teachers, request a free program now! We are currently signing classes up for the Fall and Spring semesters. Fall classes are underway, so time is running out, but Spring is still available. Remember that it takes 2 weeks for us to order materials and about 1-2 weeks to train our JA Mentors.
Junior Achievement Enhances the Greater Hampton Roads' Community
Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators, and volunteers, JA of Greater Hampton Roads helps you people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA sparks students to develop competitive skills and confidence. Their success bolsters the local workforce and contributes to economic growth. Attention High School Juniors and Seniors-- Bank of America internship opportunity available. Click here to learn more! Without the support of our generous Business Partners in Education we would not be able to provide JA programs to over 9,000 students in Hampton Roads schools. Thank you for your continued support of JA and the youth of Hampton Roads!
